Jayapura, Papua (ANTARA News) - An armed civilian group shot at two trucks owned by the gold and copper mining company PT Freeport Indonesia in the easternmost province of Papua, on Friday afternoon.
The trucks were shot at while passing through the mile 42 marker, a source stated.
Unidentified gunmen also set fire to a truck carrying sand at mile marker 37-240. Security authorities were not available for comment on the incident.
