Paniai, MAJALAH SELANGKAH – Pekerja Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) di Paniai, Sabtu, (8/9) melaporkan, warga sipil di sana resah karena aparat militer melakukan penyisiran dan masih dikirim ke kampung-kampung seperti Komopa, Distrik Agadide Kabupaten, Papua. Pengiriman pasukan ini dinilai melanggar kesepakatan bersama di Aula Serba Guna Uwatawogi Enarotali, Senin, 3 September 2012 lalu.
Pada pertemuan bersama Kapolres Paniai, Perwira Penghubung, DPRP, DPRD, Tokoh Agama, Tokoh Adat, Tokoh Pemuda dan Tokoh Perempuan serta seluruh masyarakat telah menyampaikan dua point. Pertama, tidak boleh ada penambahan pasukan karena masyarakat masih takut dan tidak bisa bebas beraktivitas. Kedua, pasukan yang tidak jelas “berkeliaran” dan yang dikirim dari Batalyon 753 Nabire agar segera ditarik.
